Netflix UK and Ireland Celebrates the London Olympics

As we celebrate the kick off to the Olympics, let’s take a minute to salute all the hard work and dedication the Olympic Deliverance Commission (ODC) have put into making this the best Games ever!  Though they were never quite able to get “Jubilympics” off the ground, you can witness all the drama and hilarity that Ian Fletcher and team have endured these past few years by catching Twenty Twelve, on Netflix July 28th.

While you are in the Olympic spirit, Netflix is excited to bring you the inspiring documentary, “Personal Best” which chronicles the long journeys of several of Great Britain’s most talented up-and-coming elite sprinters, from 2008 up to the eve of the 2012 Olympics.  You will cheer even louder for Great Britain after experiencing their training, physical rehabilitations, hopes and struggles.  Watch “Personal Best” now on Netflix.

The Killing is Coming to Netflix in the UK and Ireland

Who killed Rosie Larsen?  We are excited to announce that the first season of the cult hit The Killing, along with season one of the original Danish series, known as Forbrydelsen, are now available for Netflix members to instantly watch in the UK and Ireland.  Follow detectives Linden and Holder as they unravel the mystery in this complex and intense crime drama that has captivated viewers and has won global critical acclaim.  Set in Seattle, season one of The Killing unfolds over the course of 24 hours, weaving multi story lines of murder, grief, and politics into a deeply psychological “whodunit” story.

We’ve also recently made available other great TV series, including the most recent fourth season of Damages exclusively on Netflix and the first three seasons of Sons of Anarchy.  Enjoy!
